Kind of reminds me of how the set up was in the F., doesn't it? Have children and multiply because God said so, who cares if it's too much for you, etc., etc. Then if the children have problems it's because you are a bad mother, i.e, the Mother Eve thing - remember? And you have to go and pray desperately for God to forgive you. I just hate that mentality. This woman was already seriously mentally ill - so much so that apparently Rusty at some point had to spoon feed her because she refused to eat. She had already had suicide attempts. She had already been institutionalized and then he goes and takes her off birth control so they could have more children. Yikes, that pisses me off to no end.
