It's just that when someone is caught with their pants down (pun intended) it seems the Family tends to have that person step outside the membership even just in official position and not by actual deed- for security's sake.

IF it makes the news, they tend to say it occurred without their knowledge and when they knew about it the person was excommunicated or on furlough or no longer a member, and they say they have a charter against child molestation even if that is largely for security purposes.

Even Maria wrote a GN to make sure people didn't get the wrong idea about the "charter" and think that there was anything wrong with what David Berg did. Then she started the "LJR" which is a very invasive, twisted and perverted doctrine that I can't even imagine how she came up with that one, or condoned and pushed it if she didn't hatch that one herself.

The Lord Justice Ward case is one where much was acknowledged about what happened in the Berg household, but really they got off very lightly in that case. Also, the Family has lawyers they use to cover their butts and cross their legal tees and dot their legal i's and they change names, sometimes legally, and move around whenever there is any heat or potential for it.

I am sure there are factors I have missed for why the family has not been prosecuted or caught and convicted for all the misdeeds and crimes. But those are some reasons that come to mind for me.
