I am not sure I understand the purpose here, sas. Your relative was a victim, and most likely needs love and time to open up about the past. Forcing some kind of confession of sin is what the Family does, and can be very hurtful. Instead, I would just encourage your relative to have lots of participation with family, friends, the community, etc. (in other words, "normal life") and be ready and nonjudgmental when your relative wants to talk about the past, even if it takes a long time. Because the main point should be healing.
