Ok, I see, I read the rules, they encourage impassioned debate, and want some emotion, but also logic. Thank you for your opinion. I am a terrible typer, so excuse my delay in posting, I am forced to retype most of what I type.

I quoted the Mo Letter from 1978, that issues the belief.

Not really, while all suicides are important to those individuals, with Ricky we must remember that he was a leader, and had initimate knowedge of the group. His word was important. He was also raised in a protected environment, and would have been making a statement against the abuses he and others had suffered. In that way his suicide was a statment for much more than himself, but for all who had suffered similar circumstance, both inside and outside of the group. In this way, in the mind of one very brave young man, he was making a group statement for both himself, and the group.

Group think is important in small religious groups. The individual is often lost to the mind of the group, that happened at PT, and in a reverse manner, I think Ricky was speaking not only for himself, but the abuses of others.

Revolutionary Suicide has a cause, such as civil or religious rights, and Ricky had a cause.

I am still looking for the group belief so many experts speak of, and David Berg hinted at in his quote.

Happy to read your interest.
