Dear Reader:

Yeah, well. Whatever. I kind of "glazed over" reading his posts after a while, after he consistently dodged answering direct questions.

I didn't claim I was here to teach, be an "authority" or a researcher, or anything--I'm just a former "grass roots" exer, like Farmer said of himself.

I DO have the "authority" of that (exer) experience, plus the years out, thinking for myself, getting a real education, etc.

And Edward "never made" quite a FEW points.

With all DUE respect (IE--respect NOT present when unearned, Edward ;-) ), "factoid" means "not quite a fact", or "not as important as a REAL fact". As in, "a spheroid is not a perfect sphere".

And, I don't really care; if in fact Edward is not a real researcher, his is a rather dull joke, as are all of the overly-disturbed responses.

A real researcher will command respect, and won't have to demand it, or play off of the begging of a question, incomplete middles of logic, circular argumentation, OR insistance on the acceptance of false premises.

Logic, which makes up all research, has rules, Edward. One does NOT draw in subjects with one definition, then "switch horses in mid-stream" by "suddenly" meaning something DIFFERENT under the heading of the original definition. You did that (not you, Reader), as do the cults, whether sub-Christian, sub-Hindu (EG: "At-one-ment" is pantheistic, and does NOT mean Christian "Atonement")

After reading Edward's responses, I am afraid I agree with the objections to his manner of presentation (although not with the insults to his person--ad hominem attacks weaken their users' points of argument & NEVER strengthen them :-) ).

Research requires "gravitas", and a level of language and attendant LOGIC, NOT present in what he wrote.

'Later!

Respectfully,

OT2
