In reference to my earlier note above, I've spoken to a few of the people who were involved with the Jesus People groups in Atlanta and the Seattle area who were "recruited" (they would say taken over)by the COG in 1971, but have never had any opportunity to speak/correspond with anyone who might have been with the Children before that time and had any knowledge of those events who might be able to give additional or supplemental information to how all that happened and their impressions of events. I'm not looking for, say, a defense of COG behavior in this instance (if someone felt so led, then that would be interesting as well) but simply someone who was "on the other team" before all that went down and who might have some knowledge or experience thereof.
