Suicide NEVER became a doctrine. Mass suicide like Jonestown was NEVER EVEN CONTEMPLATED by Berg.
Whatever was TENTATIVELY said about that was that it was an alternative in very severe circumstances, a way out, an escape, NOT a revolutionary statement, NOT suicide as a message, NOT about it being a decent way for a socialist to die, which is what cargo-cult Edward was getting at.
PS, please excuse the name calling, but it sums up Edward's "research" style and very aptly so.
