I haven't read yet of an academic, who wrote something substantial...researching about the SGs..although some tried here too, to write their Master or PHD thesis...to interview some...not enough IMO...but to be fair...I haven't read the mentioned book either...it was enough for me to read what a "goodminded" Chancelor came up with...as posted at movingonorg then and elsewhere by himself.
I'd say/agree TFI is not the same in many ways then when we joined... however the point is, there is no true remorse/rectification over their grave criminal acts of the past and academics don't seem to get that either...seems to me for now...
no wonder...in Germany many forensic or whatever
psychologist have failed again and again assessing the danger of many criminals, when it came to their release from prison...many of them committing new crimes/murders...just when out on their first "vacational" leave from prison
Psychologist can be fooled...I recently read how an exjunkie forged academic papers to get the position of the director of a rehab-center...
There are some academic titles, which don't impress me super much...too much blah blah and probability involved
