thank you so much for posting this.
I look at how the facts get distorted in every day politics, and how hard it is for people to smell the coffee about demagogues and their propaganda.
Our situation as ex cult members is a more specific and particular one, but the propaganda methods used to attack credibility and silence inconvenient truths and witnesses is the SAME no matter what powerful interest group operates behind it.
All this has infiltrated academia and the social sciences as well, and there are "social scientists" who would sell themselves and their "scholarship" for a price or kickback of some kind. For the most part I found, they are either incompetent,i.e., they do not know the REAL or ethical methods of social inquiry, or they have been co-opted (with a pay off of some kind), or both.
