I agree. There are close similarities between TF and LDS. Mainstream LDS has been trying to clean their act and present themselves as the only religion that is truly American. Freedom of dissent (hence separation) is still practiced but with a more "friendly" attitude, just like the "friendly" attitude of the post-charter new-millennium COG/FOL/TFI.
