I had been excited to get connected with Tim Peters and Helping Hands Korea until I read the article on exfamily (thankfully) here

I had messaged Tim and asked for how to donate in the US and then asked for a phone number for the church (haven't got a reply yet on that one).

Now having read this it made me read the reply in a new light. Here it is directly:
-----------------------------------------
"In answer to your first question, here's the information about donating to our work in the US to receive a receipt for a charitable donation at the end of the fiscal year. HHK is working towards a more permanent solution for charitable status in the US, but in the meantime, we greatly appreciate the kind folks of the Church of Christ Worldwide in Kentucky for partnering with us in this regard. Here are the procedures that will allow you to get a tax-deductible receipt for your kind donation----Checks intended for Helping Hands Korea should be made out to:Church of Christ Worldwide,
and the check sent to:

Church of Christ Worldwide
P.O. Box 54842
Lexington, KY 40555 USA

(****It's very important that Helping Hands Korea is mentioned on the memo line of the check to show which of COCWW's mission partners the donation is intended for. Thanks a lot!)"
-----------------------------------------

I looked up the "church" and it seems weird - especially the PO Box and it seems like a lot of ministries list this address for themselves. "Church of Christ Worldwide" seems to match up to "Cramer & Hanover Church of Christ". Bennie Hill appears to be the minister - which makes me nervous when I found a "Benny Todd Hill" in Lexington who had two counts of first-degree sex offense with a child (). I truly pray that is not connected.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else here was familiar with this address and if it should potentially be added to the list of possible fronts for COG/FCI/etc. and if so as an update to the Tim Peters article...or really hoping it isn't any of that and Tim Peters has "come clean" and isn't connected to any of this anymore. Will be raising this issue with him as well when I get his reply.
