My wife left or was kicked out of the group. it didn't matter where i was, which country i was in, the counsel was always the same. There were things in the letters about taking your children with you, away from your systemite wife or husband. I wish i could remember the quotes or where to find them, but it was a prevalent theme, you can count on it. Several sheperds told me that it wasn't true that the children belonged to my wife just as much as they did to me. They said that she had given them up and dedicated them to the Lord when they were born. What I was taught to do was create defacto custody through simply living in a different country and hanging on to the children and avoiding contact. Any contact from ex-wives in the system were not only unwelcome, they were always treated with extreme suspicion. We were taught to make it as difficult as possible for system relatives to get even near to us in any way. There were many people like me, parents with backslidden mates, and everyone understood, in other words it was the default understanding, spoken or unspoken, that the parent that remained in the group should do anything and everything to keep their children with them and hide from the other systemite parent. I repeat, it was the prevalent DEFAULT understanding, that parents should kidnap their children. The damage from that kind of uncivilized behavior is long-lasting. My children suffered from it. It put ireconcilable differences between me and my ex-wife so that even after leaving the group for years, there was still mistrust and bitter custody disputes. I can readily testify that the group taught me to do things that damaged the lives of my children forever. They should pay for these crimes done to human lives. They looked at children as assets, and hurt them so badly. They insisted on having their way no matter what, even if it meant crossing borders and trafficking children.
