To start of, it was more of the org. kind, imo. because we were all so young and there were so few children. Later there were definitely ritualistic aspects from what I have read. Kids controlled by fear. Fear being the operating word of the family from the beginning. Between Jesus speaking, demons named, fear of the end time and the magical thinking, and use of the "keys", I would say ritualistic fits. This would be a good question to ask at MovingOn.
