These are some interesting studies. But so much regarding the brain is an unknown zone. A person can be severely abused in childhood in the same house as siblings and they can be very opposite in how they turn out. Or there are cases like that of the publicised one where the girl grew up with heroin addict parents, and still loved her parents and went on to Harvard with a scholarship.
There are just so many variables for each individual. In fact, no one can really know what they would actually do until they are in a given situation. But there are some interesting advances in science at this point in time. Just my opinion.
