Hello again,

Need more help from some of the early members of Berg's cult.

I understand that there were a number of groups that were formed in the So. Cal area in the late 60s to early 70s, not by Berg, but by people who attended Berg's anti-churchianity ranting hall meetings and used the info to form beliefs that created similar groups that weren't necessarily sexually deviant in nature, but very anti-church, anti-system.

Can anyone identify what some of these small offshoot groups were called? I believe they are based on the same bitter "demonic" influence Berg was under.

I am specifically trying to identify a group that may have existed around 1976-77 in the So. Cal area.

Also, were any such groups particularly slanted against "charismaniac" "glib glub" emotionalism, preaching that Jesus was a "man of sorrows" who "never laughed or partied?"

Thanks
