I love your term for unlearning TF ways! The extent of their control of those unwilling to compare Berg's teahcoings to the Bible and act decidedly on that did and does indeed resemble a lobotomy. Anatomy and physiology studides call that forebrain function (i.e. in the frontal "lobe" of the cerebrum) "executive decision making".
The TF condition reminds me of a science fiction story where aliens penetrated the back of their victims' skulls to completely control their thoughts, motives, and actions--what was the name of that Sci-Fi story? Something like The Puppetmasters; I think.
