I asked them tonight about this person (I think you wrote somewhere else that his name was Merlin?). They are not sure who he is, but have no idea where any "friends" from that time are or how to contact them. In 1979 my parents moved from Austria to the UK due to having some issues with the sexualization of the group that occurred around that time and they lived on their own in the UK as peripheral members of the group until around 1983.
Was he a GI? They said that there were some young men who visited all the time that were. Perhaps you could find him through a veteran’s web site? There was one other person they remembered called Richard, who they said was a bit strange (I chose to ignore the obvious irony) who might the person?
