I had the strangest experience

I usually go for a walk with my neighbor and then afterwards, we sit down and have a glass of water together and just chat. She's about 5 years older than me, but generally, we are both a couple of middle-aged ladies. Anyway, today we were talking about current events as is our habit and she brought up the case of the murdererd 7 yr old in San Diego. She read some magazine that talked about how the mother was having an affair with the neighbor and that these people regularly engaged in wife-swapping. So, we got into this conversation about wife-swapping and how people do that and how she could not do that. I kind of sat there meekly, of course, I vehemently agreed. Secretly, I'm thinking, oh man, if she only knew. Then she goes on to tell me how some friends of theirs back about 20 years ago tried to get them to swap and how she couldn't stomach the idea, thinking how weird it would be to be having sex with someone while her spouse was in another room having sex with someone else. I'm nodding my head wondering if she can see the color leave my face or how I'm starting to squirm and get very uncomfortable!!!! Wow - the past just doesn't go away.
