A friendly bit of advice to Joseph

Hi Joseph.

First of all I want to say that in no way do I think that either you or Jane are bad people. I think you are very smart and talented and that both of you are basically very nice and try to help others as you are able.

Since I am now your bud I will feel free to give you a little tidbit that will make it easier for you to interact with a Christian community, both in person and online. Real Christians value humility. You simply don't come across in any way as a person who embraces that particular virtue. When I read your piece on narcissism it sounded to me like you were describing yourself. I have never met you in person, but from everything I have read, both here and on the NDN, you come across as having an extremely egotistic personality. Not only that but you seem to be quite proud of it. I realize that you have many admirable talents but it is quite a turn-off to most of us to hear you bragging.

Well, that's my tip of the day for what it's worth. I honestly am not writing this to put you down or to try to upset you. Just some friendly advice.
