I am a strong believer in birth control. Jane told me that I was the first guy she was ever with that was concerned about, and showed up with birth control. Considering her past, that is a pretty amazing statement.

I don't see birth control as killing. But, I do see abortion that way.

Jane was only 26 weeks pregnant when she had Casey (986 grams, or about 2 lbs 2.5 oz). Under some circumstances, she would still have been legal to abort. How could one argue that Casey wasn't really alive at 26 weeks, when she is about to enter the second grade next month?

As far as natural methods of birth control that are allowed by the Church, I don't understand that. If your intention is to prevent pregancy, what's the difference?

Of course, one might correctly argue that one works and one doesn't.

You know what they call a couple that practices the rhythm method?

Mommy and Daddy.

But seriously folks...
