We are all in that state, Jesse, don't worry. We have so many hurts and wounds and it would be so easy to be so angry all the time. Yes, there has to be a place for forgiveness and letting it go, but at the same time, perpetrators have to be stopped in order to protect the innocent. It's a fine line sometimes. I'm glad that you came here and opened up, I'm sure it is very hard for you to go through. I do think, though, as someone else mentioned, that it would be good for you to take your daughter to a counselor or church counselor. I know my church has a counselor and I am so glad they do. Even if your daughter says it's ok, I'm sure she needs someone to talk to about it, a trained professional, and help her get through it. Something happened to me once when I was very young and I'm sorry I never went to anyone about it.
