Well I agree with ya on that one Micron. Like the Nuremburg trials, top leaders were held accountable. As far as a data base, if I knew specifics of any people from the area (Houston) that were looking for assistance, if I had information like age, sex, type of needs, I could assist in helping to find a place where they could then apply for assistance. I could also be a support person and contact person to visit and spend time with any that wanted that contact while adjusting to life outside the family. I know of alot of resources available in my area. Some are better than others, some have waiting lists. All require that the person in need show initiative to contact them personally to ask for help. I could go along as support when someone is doing this, too. Good areas to find out about resources are: Social workers at county facilities, a social worker at a known facility, some churches (that aren't pentecostally- that's my prejudice), crisis hotlines, womens centers. Most large cities have these and people assisting others in accessing and getting in could be very helpful...
