Hi Goth - I agree with your points in many ways, yet I do not see that Rocky was in any of his writings validating SGAs more than FGAs, rather, he was stating the differences. I think continuing to make an issue out of it is non-productive. When I see what my own children go through, it breaks my heart. I put them there, they had no choice of any of it. Even though they don't hold it against me or use it to fuel their anger more, as you say, it still causes them major grief that they have to continualy deal with. What they go through is different and sometimes even more horrendous, yet it doesn't lessen what I or any other FGAs are going through.

I just try to imagine what it would be like to be born in this type of a group and raised in it, never knowing how to live in normal living arrangements, having that stuff taught to you from birth. I try to put myself in their shoes, because it's hard for me to imagine.

I don't see that as being an issue here. Rocky's post was great and I'm glad he posted it here.
