That's SO WONDERFUL! I see it happenning here too, in my wife's "getting of a life" after all these years and after so much fall out. And yes, it's still tough inspite of the victories gained, and then there's the reality that we live in a fallen world under a curse (we still have to make a living) adding to all the other shit. You must be thrilled to be getting educated and I'm sure that's a big boost to the esteem and that it's going to be a big boost to your future quality of life. I'm not sure just what it is you are studying though. Perhaps you'd lie to share that. I hope it all goes well and that you come out with flying colors. I bet you will.
One good thing about all the things alot of us have gone through is that, with proper therapy, we can become emotionally stonger than alot of the folks who had a "non traumatic" childhood and a "functional" family. My wife's real beauty and depth is becoming more apparent evey day.
