Dear Thinker:

A disaster at sea is nothing like the holocaust or suffering sexual and physical abuse. The hand of nature is not the same as murder or abuse.

I also do not think that many of the FGA's parents, no matter how dysfunctional, taught that child sexual abuse and religious prostitution were OK with God. As distasteful as it is, the truth is that many of us enabled berg by not speaking out when we should have. I do not accept that the SG's out of the family are carrying on the abuses of the FGA's or repeating their parent's behaviour.

I actually feel that is an ugly thing to imply. Karmic suggests they deserve what happened to them. Saying that indicates to me that you may be "aware" abuse happened but I don't think you really appreciate how dreadfully unique the family's abusive doctrines and practices really were/are and the impact they had on an innocent generation.

I have read lots of good points in your posts but Thinker I think this particular one was a stinker!

Sincerely

Rocky
