I think the same way. I worry when I feel like the only one with a differing opinion and it's frowned upon. That worries me because I feel forced into accepting something just because it is the status quo. I think it gives me jitters from repressing my opinions in TF. I want to always be as informed as possible and never think I have all the facts or the corner on any kind of truth. So much of our information is passed down purposely twisted for a certain point. I've noticed too that people read what they want to believe and rarely read or pay attention to what they don't agree with. One can't be considered well informed that way.

I agree about the media. In fact, one of our assignments was to take a newspaper article, even the smallest, most insignificant one and find out how incorrect it was. It was an account of a man shooting a bear on his property. Turned out the reporter hardly had any of the facts right. That opened my eyes quite a bit.
