Kristi
I know that very well. I have been in intensive therapy for 7 years now, and I have a therapist that I can do this kind of work with. Btw, colleges and unis here in Cal have psychological help available and many times that is one of the best way to get some help.

It is very important to be able to gain perspective even in the worst emotional storm and this is enough to cause emotional storms.

I was very close to someone who committed suicide (and my own daughter had a severe attempted suicide so I am pretty scarred myself) and my therapist has had to help me many times telling me just because that happened that one time it does not mean it will happen again to my kids etc, because every time I am in crisis or one of them is I need to take a breath, size up what is in front of me, what my personal strenght is, and HOW I can best deal with.

It is crisis management and intervention. Sigh.
Keep posting. :))
