It may be true that what you say is what is happening, that she is purging the ranks.The Gideon army, or similarly the dialectic-pendulum thing, going very hard and then changing to more democratic like during the RNR and then to the other extreme, the oppresive Victor Camps. In fact in a letter she wrote in the ninties she talked about this swing back and forth. The problem with this formula might be that Zerby can't make the change back to dictatorship. It is easy to give people rights, the Charter etc. It is harder to take them away. Berg could do it with just one of his dictums. But Zerby maybe does not have what to takes to make it happen. A lot has changed since Berg died, in some ways the group is not the same. Maybe purging the ranks is not what's in Zerby's mind as much as the group surviving. Anyway these are some thoughts, I am not saying this is how it is, just my opinion as to what the situation might be. Sam Ajemian
