The point was not to bring up an incident where someone is mentioned but cannot participate in the discussion because he is banned. IMO, I don't think Acheick mentioned details in a way that made it necessary for the banned person to come here and speak up. (I may be wrong, I'll check again.)

In any case, just because Acheick doesn't mention the banned person, doesn't make it an easier or legit discussion. Joseph's rebuttal and reasons for disagreeing will lead us right back to the sensitive incident again. It seems very difficult if not impossible to get into discussing Sam or Sam's actions, without mentioning that situation. And once anyone mentions that situation, details such as names and places will reappear and we're back to square one.

So I am hereby officially declaring this topic as off limits for the boards. I think enough has been said on all sides of the issue, for now... Perhaps these are things that could be discussed by email of the parties are inclined.
