now I understand what you are saying. It was Jules who suggested she saw a lot of self flagellation. And I see it too. Exmembers here are always kicking themselves for being in that cult and supporting the policies. I just thought that was a given. I will always be angry at myself for allowing my children to be raised in such a fashion and for any hurt that came to them because of it. Though they have forgiven me and want me to move on, I can't help but feel bad and want to do something right, make some sort of amends, somehow.
Maybe it's a puny way to make amends by trying to open dialogue, by trying to apologize, and I agree it's the least we can do and I don't see anyone wanting any red carpet treatment for doing what they should do and is the least they can do. I thought this was well known for the people around here, but I guess I should reiterate that every now and then so it's clear. I do appreciate the attempts at dialogue here and I apologize if I've misunderstood anything you were trying to say.
