What became of the "Michelangelo " of TF?

Posted by Alan on January 15, 2004 at 09:08:28

The recent posts and articles exposing Tamar's plagiarism of copyrighted artwork reminded me that there was at least one real artist in the COG/TF. I don't remember his name, but he joined the COG back in 1971, when an Atlanta Jesus-people group called the House of Judah, merged with the COG.

This group had a big three-story house on 14th street in Atlanta, and after the COG took over, this modern-day Michelangelo began to paint a series of murals all over the house. The murals depicted the prophetic visions described in Revelation. His artwork was of such quality, that word quickly spread all over the city. People wanted to visit the COG house to see the fantastic murals.

Even after the house on 14th street changed owners, the murals were preserved. People continued to visit the house (now converted into a business office) to view the artwork, and the new owners accommodated them. I understand the house has since been demolished and replaced by a high-rise building.

Does anybody remember this brother's name, or what has become of him?
