I think some celebrities end up with the same warped idea of reality as certain isolated cult leaders.
They surround themselves with people who tell them that every idea they have is fantastic. Anyone "negative" is pushed out of the inner circle.
For someone like Britney Spears, everyone is on the payroll, including her family. Nobody wants to get fired from a cushy job.
Look at how that worked out for Elvis. He was only 42 years old when he died. What did they call it in 1977? Heart Failure?
It will be interesting to see how Ms. Spears stands the test of time. Unlike Presley, she really isn't musically talented. When the looks begin to fade, I'm sure her time will be up.
I was watching a program on her a few months ago, about her spending habits. She will send a private jet to get her a perticular brand of coffee that she likes. Her spending is unbelievable.
