A few days ago I read this article in THE GUARDIAN.

It comments on the youth of Iran, and how most have little interest in supporting the ruling theocracy. One person commented that the rulers had betrayed Islam, and itstruck me that this is what we did in the COG/Family. We betrayed Christianity. Berg led the way, but we bought into it and essentially betrayed it. It helped me understand just a little bit better when I frmaed it that way.
It's an interesting piece, how the SG Iranians view the revolution of their parents. Lots of familiar dynamics at work.
