I had that happen in the past. For me, and it happened even though I have good antivirus protection. What I found out was that the directions they give to get rid of the virus will actually delete things you need. And there was no real virus. Glad i did not follow the directions but contacted AOL. The more you open the more come in. And then I started getting messages from people saying they were reporting me for sending something to them. I sent a TOS report to AOL with the info then when I saw something similar I just forwarded it to AOL. I deleted a few more then nothing more came. My computer didn't have a virus.
