Statement:

5. You might wonder how this message of amnesty fits in with His very clear message in "Choices and Consequences" about the consequences for disobedience, and how our faithful Shepherd is not going to let us get away with things anymore. Well, that message still stands, and is the Lord's message for us today.

Interpretation:

Well, duh! Yeah, you might wonder all right! You might even come to the conclusion that Maria bit off more than she could chew and was forced to fabricate a new prophecy from Berg and Jesus to backpaddle. Having decided to come down firm on the members and seeing it begin to backfire from people who have been used to a little more laxness of rules, she find she can no longer follower her bark with a credible bite.

So just as she's about to precipitate a mass exodus from the Family from her foolish attempt to enforce draconian rules, she backtracks and comes out with a prophecy that basically says, "Wait! I didn't mean to force you out! Stay with us dear slaves! Keep tithing and giving!"
