I did not vote for Reagan, I was still in TF I came back on time to campaign for Bush father

during the next elections. I think he did a good job in general (except for his few stupid

mistakes in foreign policies much like his son now). I did not vote when Clinton's time came

because I had decided that I cannot vote republican nor democrat. Now I will not vote for

anybody until I hear people saying that this system is rotten but I am about to make an

exception because the actual president has to go.

I cannot be a democrat because there are very dear things to democrats that I cannot in all

conscience support.

I cannot be a republican because there are very dear things to republicans that I cannot in

all conscience support.

I hope this answer your question. I am not one to go one way and not the other in everything

just because my leader tells me to think that way. I had too many years of that in The

Family.

I think Reagan may have done some good to the United States but he was also on the verge of

being a war criminal for some of the things he did to other countries - much like our

president these days.

So, there you are and here I am. We are very different and I celebrate these differences.

There are those who use labels to make distinctions and cause separations, and some of them

seem to would like to have a civil war and kill those who don't think like them. Those who

think that being a blind follower is better than being a questioner should be ashamed of

themselves because that is the worse type of American that can be - in fact it is so

anti-American that is ridiculous.

On the other path os the statistics: Do you know the difference between median and mean? If so, look at the census bureau pages and figure out that the vast majority of the people paying taxes are in the lower part of the charts. I perhaps went to low to 25K instead of 35 and you have a point with that minimum wage comment but I think it is out of line to ask whose fault it is for people to make that low. If you don't know poor people or blame them for their poverty, you should go visit the projects and live like they do and see how much rejected they are even when they try to make an honest life. As some people outside the law may live in those poverty striken places, there are also many very honest people who work hard and are hardly able to even find work.

Anyway, you either had compassion or not, I suspect you do as most people who have gone through TF do but we see things differently. By the way, the lack of sympathy the republican party shows for those at the bottom of society and the tremendous amount of generosity they show to those who are rich is one reason why I cannot be a republican even though I agree with many of their other positions.

America needs to re-invent itself and those who just chant the same sacred hymns are not part of the solution but of the problem.

I hope I answered your questions.
