I haven't voted sometimes. I didn't feel that I knew enough to cast my vote and that I would just be throwing something out, which could be more dangerous in itself. I have no problem with that. But if one is informed and has an opinion, then they should vote and stand behind their convictions. I like our two-party system as it was designed by the founding fathers. As I understand it, they designed it that way so that one polarized side doesn't win everything and then, voila, you have a minority vote running everything. The two sides are supposed to pull against each other to bring things somewhere in the middle. That is the idea, and for the most part, I think, it works. Like ir or not, both sides need each other.
