I always wrestled with them too. I remember when I first joined in a colony and seeing the nice fried eggs platter going upstairs while I was still a little hungry from my small portion of porridge that morning. I figured right away that the leaders had it very good while we were just part of the poor exploited mass (to use the proletariat imagery :-).

I didn't realized that it was a widespread practice until several years later and by the time of the RNR I was in Lima and saw Jethro's and Deborah life style... was I shocked! The only reason why I didn't leave right then is because good ole' Shaul was in charge of the changes when it allowed us, the poor of the land, to go and spoil the riches. I remember this peruvian brother who got everything he could carry to resale and live for a whole year off the money.

Well, things didn't changed much with the new regimen and then the latest revolutions did nothing but keep consolidating the bergite empire. The more things changed, the more they remained the same. ALl of this is still true and going around in cycles.
