Yes, the "highest" I ever got was a CRO Home, and I was an excellent secretary (now making a very good living as an executive assistant), but the main thing I remember constantly getting "counseled" about while in this "unit" was what to wear, personal grooming, etc. I am not and never have been a beauty, but neither was I in need of being told how to do basic showering and brushing!! And the first thing when I hit the "big time" home was a doctor's appointment for testing to make sure I didn't have any sexual infections.
Anyway, it wasn't just the women, I think, who faced this... I noticed all the men who "moved up the ladder" seemed to share a certain look as well. Even the ones who were the "little guys", did driving, handyman, etc.
Just an observation. To be fair, there were also some leaders and "little people" I met who I then felt, and still feel, were sincere and well meaning.
