Interesting discussion here on Empire.
I make the point that one doesn't have to 'conquer' territory to have an Empire.
As an outsider (ie non-US) to many in other parts of the world, this Empire is more an economic, cultural and alliance based Empire. But an Empire, none the less.
So, from the 'Colonies/Provinces' - consider carefully the exercising of your power - your vote for President/Government later this year affects far more than your own country.
