It sounds a bit like the McMartin case that we had here in Los Angeles several years ago. They hauled in an entire family that ran a pre-school, including the old Grandmother who was confined to a wheel chair. While they were arrested, someone burned the school to the ground. They had a social worker who was not trained in child abuse do some kind of puppet therapy on the kids where she would basically tell them that they got molested (I saw some of the tapes on TV).

They never got a conviction on any of the McMartins, but it ruiend their business and their lives.

That kind of stuff can turn very ugly, very fast on people. You want real pedophiles to go to jail, but I can't imagine what it would be like to be facing jail on charges like that, and know that you didn't do anything wrong.
