Let's not overlook or minimilize the criminal actions of France, Germany, and Russia during the 12 year U.N. embargo of Iraq. With the fall of Saddam, we now have ample evidence of these countries' criminal behavior. There's a good reason they so strongly opposed invading Iraq, and it's not just because their lucrative oil contracts would come to an end. The evidence shows that these cuntries violated the embargo nto help Saddam sell oil for weapons, and they even supplied him with the chemicals to manufacture biological and chemical weapons. France even supplied Saddam's leadership with French passports, so they could escape capture. These countries have blood all over their hands. They were perfectly happy to see that brutal dictator remain in power, as long as he was willing to do business with them.
