The coalition isn't really getting out of there yet. All the tens of thousands of troops are still there in harm's way and will be for some time, including some Auzzie troops. Whatever you think of Bush or your own governments decision to get in there in the first place the troops are there on the ground and now they can't just walk out or the country would descend into chaos. The coaltion owes it to Iraq to stay there till things stabilize and the Iraqis can get their army and police back on the feet and contain the violence.

The best deal would be if the UN stepped in, but they don't seem to be in any hurry. In the meantime, millions of Iraquis have limited power and water and public services. People are suffering.
