that the President of the U.S. had just been told that the second tower had been hit and that the U.S. was under attack. It doesn't sound like you saw the movie Achieck. If not that is worrisome because there are an awful lot of posts on this board from people who hold very strong views about the film without having ever seen it. That is simply blindly following the opinion of others.

That was one of the scariest scenes in the film. I still can't decide if that glazed, idiotic look on Bush's face for over 7 minutes indicated his complete ignorance, unable to act without his handlers telling him what to do, or if it indicated that he was simply calculating his next moves. I'm inclined to think that it was the former because I don't think he's intelligent enough to be considering his options, as Moore's voice-over seemed to suggest.

Like I said before, it's obvious to anyone who sees the film that it is propaganda, but so what? So is everything emanating from the White House, not to mention mainstream media. Moore was trying to do one simple thing with this film: make Americans question what they're being told by their leaders by offering an alternative view point. You're right about the need to apply critical thinking when viewing this film, but when you ask, "what happened to everyone's critical thinking skills," I wonder if you asked yourself that question.
