Miguel,

Saying you are pro-life, but pro-choice is a contradiction. Pro-lifers oppose abortion because they believe an innocent human life is snuffed out. If you agree with this principle, then you violate it by condoning the act when it is committed by others.

I'll demonstrate the contradiction with an example of a controversy from another era:

Let's say we are living in the mid 19th Century, when slavery was still legal in the U.S. I'm assuming you would be opposed to slavery. Would you have made the following statement?

"I'm personally opposed to slavery, but I don't mind if my neighbors at the plantation down the road own slaves."

Or what would you think of the slave-owner who says:

"I have a right to own slaves! The Supreme Court says Negros ain't people! These damned abolitionists are just a bunch of Bible-thumpers trying to shove their religion down our throats! If they don't want to own slaves, that's fine, but they ain't got no right to tell other folks they can't own 'em!"
