Socialism and Capitalism are economic systems, and Democracy and Dictatorships are political systems. An example would be Cuba which is Socialist and under a dictator, and Sweden which has a socialist economy as far as taxes and covering its society from birth to death, but it is democratic. People vote there over things we are not even allowed to vote on here in the USA.
