The boyfriend of someone I know very well has become involved in 'Multi Level Marketing' or what used to be known as pyramid selling. Remember Amway? Well she has been very worried and has tried to warn him to be careful. The similarities between this and a cult are frightening. They were planning to marry but now he has broken it off. I am suspicious that the 'group' has advised him to do this as she has been against the whole thing from the beginning. Does anyone else have any experience with these MLM groups?
