i just believe she believes them. i do think they were concious that they were using manipulative techniques at times, but w/in their belief system , that was of God. if you can't get people to do it for the right reasons, get em to do it for the wrong reasons, and maybe they will come too see it your (God's) way eventually. either way, "the kingdom" goes forward.
that is my honest gut feeling, and that of others i know who were close, at least that i've discussed it with.
either way, it is clearly and severely sick.
