Our team of 14 just got back from an exciting faith trip to the Rainbow Gathering up in Northern California. There are all types of people and sub-cultures at the gathering; young drop-outs, old hippies, revolutionaries, Hari-Krishnas, Rastafarians, naturalists, punks, anarchists, tree-huggers, nudists, New Age, occult, etc. and quite a few "weekend warriors" that just come to see what's going on. The main event is on the morning of July 4th......On the morning of July 4th, we dressed in black, put ashes on our foreheads and carried a coffin with the American flag draped over it, symbolizing the fall of America; we also carried large signs with warning verses on them and did a silent vigil all around the gathering. People were very interested and would come up and read the verses and take pictures etc. Overall, we got a very good response from the Rainbow Gathering, saw the Lord do lots of miracles, had tons of fun, and we're already looking forward to next year!
