I have some old ML volumes but the thought of trying to wade through them & pull out specific quotes is overwhelming.

The thots you mentioned are in the Letters, tho not altogether & in those exact words. Berg didn't really say the main use for a woman was to have baby after baby. He said the main use for a women as a *helpmeet* was to *help the man's meat (penis)* by giving him sex. Women were created to give sexual pleasure to men.

The baby thing is another issue. With birth control forbidden, women had no choice but to be forever pregnant. That too was God's will. And since a woman was supposed to give sex to *meet the needs* of all the males who needed to use her body, she would end up with many Jesus Babies from different men. That too was God's will & Family women had to accept it.

Berg didn't specifically say a woman should have baby after baby and be discarded when she burned out. He did say three related things:

* young teen girls should go FFing because their older mothers are worn out from having babies.

* in patriarchal times men took on new wives because the older ones were too worn out from having babies to have sex.

* in practice, if a husband & wife had lots of kids and leadership needed the husband, they would take him away from the wife & kids so he could serve God unencumbered. In his new location he would be given sex from one or more single women.

Berg did not use the term *kidnap* but he did condone taking children away from members who either left the group or were considered weaker. In *A Tale of Two Families* he said the two stronger, loyal mates should take the kids from the weak mates & form a new family. Kidnapping the kids if one spouse left the group was a definite part of Family doctrine. It may not have been written down in so many words but was part of the culture.
